About Kellee Christine Clark

I’m passionate about working with children, families, and individuals who have experienced relational ruptures, large stressors, or trauma. I do see kids up to age 10, and I work best with kids ages 2 to 9. I enjoy working with adults 18 and older. Connection is the focus of my work with children, adults, and families. I walk with people in their journey as they begin to Accept, Nurture, Connect, Heal, and Optimize their Relationships (ANCHOR).

My priority in our work together is to develop a safe and connected therapeutic relationship as the mental health field has come to find this is the number one positive outcome predictor for therapy. With that said some folks find it helpful to know a bit about my training. I hold a Master’s Degree of Science in Couples/Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a Registered Play Therapist, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, EMDR certified, Completed Level 1 Theraplay Training, and trained as a Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator.

Because much of my experience is working with trauma survivors I first prioritize creating a felt sense of safety for those who start working with me. I bring my authentic self into each session and trust the intuition of the body to heal. I have been told by many clients this approach has helped them connect quicker and experience a deeper level of healing. Much of our work together would involve connecting to and listening to your body. I hold a message I believe is true for all of us, “THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU,” and will hold this message for you until you can.   While much of my work is with children, over time I have come to see that even when working with adults it is their hurting child within that has sought out healing.

I have a very personal understanding of how hard it can be to take the leap into healing work for ourselves. I am committed to being present, curious, and connected with you at every step you want to take in your healing journey. I truly feel a deep sense of gratitude that I have been given permission to walk with others on their journey.
